550bhp, 5.0-litre V8 Bowler EXR-S

Bowler EXR-S is something you don’t see everyday. For those uninformed, it’s a Range Rover Sport supercar which is intended for all terrains. It has 5.0-litre V8 and 285mm travel suspension.

Perhaps you’ve heard of Bowler – an engineering firm from Derbyshire which got famous by building off-road racers for Dakar, one of which is the Defender-based Wildcat. In 2015 they built the first out of three EXR-S in right-hand drive.

EXR-S has an integrated FIA roll cage, six-piston Brembos and an exceptional ‘E Control’ rear differential with 50/50 split drive on all wheels. Its suspension consists of independent double arms for both front and rear, made to fit Bilsten dampers and Eibach springs. Car’s body is composite with leatherinterior, much like the old Rangie.

Its power sits at 550bph making it able to reach 0-62mph in 4.2 seconds whereas the top speed is limited to 155mph. We believe it will be able to achieve that on any terrain.

At Silverstone Auctions on May 20, the Bowler can be bought by the highest bidder. The estimated pre-auction price is between £95,000 and £115,000.
